On Friday we helped Ocean Blue Adventures with an outing for children from ‘Up with Downs’. They drove through from George early in the morning for their excursion. We started off the trip with a small group of humpback dolphins when the skipper got a call from one of the other boats that there was a pod of common dolphins in the bay. We rushed off to the location where the children had the opportunity of seeing one of the ocean’s greatest spectacles. There was a group of approx 800 Common Dolphins along with a few Bryde’s Whales. We are not sure who enjoyed the experience more, the children watching the dolphins or us watching through their eyes!
