Magic moment of the week: Coming face to face with an African elephant

1

My magic moment of the week was coming face to face with an African elephant. The sheer size and power of this animal was incredible, yet she was so gentle. This experience showed me the great respect and understanding needed to work along side a wild animal.

The ORCA Foundation is part of a volunteer community dedicated to marine conservation in South Africa, and like many conservation projects depends on the willingness of others to contribute their time and dedication to furthering the volunteer and conservation ethics that go hand in hand for a better future.
