After a remarkable time with a Southern Right Whale inside Plettenberg Bay, we decide to take a look on the other side of the point in rougher seas. In a few short moments after bouncing around on the high swells, five Humpback Whales emerged from below each taking breaths together. Seeing not just the backside and dorsal fin but also the bumped head of the whale as they popped out their head was amazing. At one point all five were out at once and one took a dive showing its fluke while another lifted its head above the water for a breath. I was riveted seeing these animals well for the first time!
